Yosemite Expedition – Day 2
Day 2: Friday 6/23- We'll hit Gemfield Rd. and take it out to Silver Peak, and then on to Coyote Road trail to Queen Canyon Rd/ Queen Canyon Mine- RTE 6 and on to Mono Lake/ Mono City. We'll take 359 E to NF 026 to the Borealis Mine, and Aurora. We'll camp near by.

Day 3: Saturday 6/24- We'll explore the famous ghost town of Bodie, Virginia creek settlement, and Chemung mine. From there, we'll head to Carson city ( 3hr/ 143 miles). Day 4: Sunday 6/25- We'll take the Mormon Emigrant Trail to Rte 88S to 49S to 4S to Copperopolis. Continuing on Obyrees Ferry Rd south to Big Oak Flat Road, to the Wawona tunnel and giant dead tunnel tree. We'll enter Yosemite National Park. Entrance fee is $35/vehicle. Yosemite Expedition – Day 5
Day 5: Monday 6/26- This day we'll have a few options on what direction we want to go. We can check out Pine Creek Pass, or drop down south to Cerro Gordo, and Wacobe Canyon to Desert Oasis ( an old ranch).
Yosemite Expedition – Option B
Option B would be to head from Wawona to Yosemite Forks, to Ponderosa and head to Sherman Pass, Kennedy Meadows, and 395 south.
